I would recommend this holiday to others because the location was very good, with a park and ride near by, and local amenities were easy to find and numerous. The cottage itself was lovely and well planned out. It would be great for lots of families holidaying together because each family could have their own cottage. Overall a lovely holiday. Lovely cottage, everything you need including wifi. Owners made us very welcome and so handy for everywhere. Park and ride 5 mins away. Will be going again without a doubt. Miss B, Ormskirk, Lancashire 10 July 2010
The main reason we booked the cottage was we wanted to visit York, and this was an ideal base as the park and ride is only about 5 minutes away. The cottage was lovely, it had everything you need, and the bed was nice and comfortable, also the staff we met were very friendly and helpful. There is a nice cafe on site in the Vertigrow garden centre and when we arrived the lady who owns it had left a delightful cake for us to enjoy. You need a car but there are quite a lot of little villages not too far away to drive to and explore, and if like us you wanted to travel further Scarborough, Bridlington and Hull are easy to get to. Really enjoyed it and would go back again. Mr P, LIVERPOOL, Merseyside 23 May 2010
Great location, easy access to East Coast resorts plus many other major attractions / towns and cities.

A good base for exploring York and the surrounding areas. Mr T, Bristol, Avon 27 October 2006
A great plase to stay, not far from the coast, and York. We ran out of time to see all the things in the area. This cottage was I think the best yet! Mr L, Wymondham, Norfolk 29 July 2006
